I was born in Montreal, grew up in Ottawa and graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Medical Illustration. I worked for 20 years in the fields of medical and commercial illustration & design in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. Since 2003 I have studied oil painting, colour theory and composition at the Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design and the Vancouver Academy of Art, and have been a student of master painter Paul Chizik.
Other than summers spent at Otter Lake Ontario, I live and work in North Vancouver, British Columbia and spend time in the Southern Gulf Islands at a small cabin on Parker Island. I am a member of the Portrait Society of Canada, the Portrait Society of America, the Cecilia Beaux Forum and the North Van Arts Council.
Represented by The Mill at Chaffey’s Lock Gallery in Ontario cottage country and 32 Books & Gallery in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver. I am a regular participant in the annual North Shore Art Crawl.
